What type of EV charger do I need for my home?
Most standard UK homes allow installation of a 7kW single-phase AC charger, which will fully charge a typical electric vehicle overnight. If you have a larger property and a three-phase supply, a 22kW charger may be an option. We will assess your supply and recommend the most suitable unit for your vehicle and usage.
Am I eligible for a government grant?
The Workplace Charging Scheme is still open: the maximum rose from £350 to £500 per socket for installations from 1 April 2026, and the scheme runs until 31 March 2027. Eligibility criteria apply; we will advise you during your survey.
How long does an EV charger installation take?
A standard domestic EV charger installation typically takes half a day to a full day, depending on the complexity of the cable run and any additional electrical work required.
Can I charge any electric vehicle with your chargers?
Yes, the chargers we install use the standard Type 2 connector, which is compatible with all modern electric vehicles sold in the UK. We can also advise on tethered versus untethered options.
